As we shown VS Code extensions to improve productivity Extensions are not only require to increase productivity but also font and font setting are also equal part in order to extends work environment. A font gives a good visibility and cleanness. It gives good breath to our eyes and indirectly it adds energy to do more programming. Mostly, a developer is spending 6-8 hours in programming development so it becomes essential to choose a good font and font setting which gives a smooth experience while developing a program.

There are many fonts are available on the web but I like most Operator Mono. It’s paid font and everyone cannot effort even me so I found alternative font, it is called Fira Code. It’s free mono spaced font with programming ligatures. We the developers used to use lots of symbol in programming. The Fira code font converts symbol like logical operators ===, !==, >= into the ligatures and it gives a good scan to eyes.

“editor.letterSpacing”: 0.5,
“editor.lineHeight”: 28,
